Stop At: Phang Nga Bay., Ao Phang Nga National Park Thailand

An early morning pick-up from selected hotels in Khao Lak by your driver is only the beginning of what lies ahead on this great day. This tour provides an opportunity to explore undisturbed nature, A large part of this tour is done by speed boat with the surreal, marine landscape of Phang Nga Bay as the back ground where towering limestone karst islands in the famous Phang Nga Bay rise high from the ocean surface. Discover the sea caves, hongs (an open-air, cliff-lined cylindrical tidal lagoon connected to the outside world through caves) and tunnels, often hardly visible due to the dense mangrove swamps. Learn about, the ecosystems of these ’secret’ places. Also included is a guided tour of Ping-Ngan and Tapu Island where the classic James Bond film ‘The Man with the Golden Gun’ was filmed. A Thai lunch is served at Panyi Village, a Muslim community living on stilted houses right inside the Phang Nga Bay.

With some stops to enjoy the warm waters to make a refreshing swim, we make our way back to Khao Lak at the end of the afternoon. Your driver will bring you back all the way to the lobby of your Khao Lak resort at around 18:00 hrs.
