I have been in many countries with beautiful beaches even been in Bali but I suggest Phi Phi as number 1 destination for snorkelling! on the other hand short distance from Phuket to Phi Phi island ( only 40 minutes with speed boat ) you don’t need to have snorkelling equipment as the speed boat personal provide you with all needed staff and watching you as experienced life guard so nothing bad will happened , thanks thailand and love you Phi Phi
