Our family of 6 aged 52,52,23,23,21,18 spent a wonderful day being guided around Singapore by our charming tour guide Gee Soo Boo. Gee Soo got the measure of us straight away and took us on a very interesting and tasty tour! He was very knowledgeable and kept us all interested even though we had four young adults with us. The food was delicious and varied we all particularly enjoyed the Katong Laksa from Marine Parade Laksa, freshly pressed sugar cane juice at the Old Airport Road food centre and Chicken Murtabak from Zam Zam in Kampong Glam. My 18 year old enjoyed chewing on the edible Frankincense it was the closest he got to chewing gum all week! Gee Soo made sure that the vegetarian in the group was happy by providing alternatives like Kaya toast and fried banana. The tour lasted about 6 hours but we spent probably half of that time eating so we weren't on our feet all day. I would thoroughly recommend this tour - just remember to bring an umbrella!
