Our guide is very nice and patient. Knowledgeable about the area and made stops to take pics. The tour itself was ok, kinda uneventful and not very amusing. But it was an easy relaxing drive, probably good for family with little ones or older parents who can't walk too far.
It was end of season and our guide was on his last day. After a few simple unanswered questions it wasn't a surprise. So next year it will be someone different and hopefully more committed to learning his facts. Our tour was cut a little short as some others on the tour had booked a second tour on the same day, in the afternoon. Great for them tough for us. Tour operator should check before they srat out if this situation is likely to arise and either group parties doing a double together ( they had three buses on the route) or stick with a hard line if a tour is delayed then you had better make alternative plans if you want to double book.
Skagway was our favourite stop during our cruise .The history of this little town , the architecture, the people .. everything.. we loved it .
I enjoyed the trip immensely - the driver was fantastic and very informative, the countryside and sites were amazing and it was a lovely day. The smell in the air and the blue sky were amazing. I would highly recommend this trip.
I highly recommend this trip. It was a small group. Our guide, Andy, was excellent. He gave information throughout the entire trip and gave us plenty of time at each stop.
Our driver Andy was a terrific tour guide. He was very patient, informative and humorous. Would definitely do the tour again.
Was extremely worthwhile. We had a lovely guide who took the time to show us many features on the way. We were lucky to see 4 bears on our travels and is a very worthwhile trip to take. Highly recommend to others.
Our family all enjoyed the trip with Mike!!! He was very informative, funny and easy to communicate with thru the whole trip!! He was aware of our needs and interests as well as making the trip special to those on that trip!! Super memories!
The bus is small and confortable, with excellent view. The road is spectacular, the guide is very professional and tells us good stories. the photos stops are amazing and well organized. The suspended bridge is a must. You cant get your eyes out of the road. It is absolutely beautiful. Dont miss this tour. It is cheap for the quality. We took the 10:00 hrs tour. There is one every aft hour. Dont take the boring train. This tour is musch better.
We had a great tour! Guide was fun, friendly, and informative! They are able to stop anywhere and take pictures, and we even stopped when we saw a baby black bear. Great locations visited, and the guide was great at taking photos for us! Great Value for the trip!
Beverly was great. The bus comfortable, the tour was well paced, informative and amazing scenery. All the way though the Canadian boarder to the Yukon.we were kept amused and entertained with stories of the Gold rush. We saw bear, lakes and mountains in all their splendour. Good value great tour. OUR thanks to all.
The excursion and driver, Max, were excellent. The 28? passenger bus was full, clean, on time and in good shape. Max, our driver, was knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic. Really good! Scenery as we drove from Skagway up through White Pass (elevation ~3400 feet), through the alpine environment, past Fraser, then Tutshi Lake, and on to the border of BC and Yukon Territory was beautiful. The return trip back to our ship took about an hour and 20 minutes, Very enjoyable experience.
Our guide, Brooke, was fantastic. The scenery was great. We also saw a bear, a moose, mountain goats and Iditarod puppies. The tour was 3x deeper into the frontier and half the price as as the train tour. Also, because we were in a small bus, we stopped for photos a scenic lookouts and of the wild animals we encountered. Very nice.
The driver was very knowledgeable and amiemable, I would recommend this tour to my fellow travelers.
If you like taking photos, you'll have plenty of amazing opportunities on this excursion.
I highly recommend this tour, our tour guide Brook was the best, we stopped numerous times for pictures, the beauty of this tour was absolutely gorgeous, I felt like I was looking at a postcard. She was very informative about the area. It was worth every penny spent.
it was incredible.. the best excursion we took on our Alaskan Cruise.. our tour guide was Brook.. very informed and very entertaining.. the stops were beautiful, as were just looking out the window as we drove thru.. Any question we asked, she knew the answer.. I tried to review this excursion before, but for some reason it never took.. was disappointed because really wanted to let you know this was one of the highlights of our trip.. the price was good too
