The guide (his name started with a V) was very knowledgeable and informative. Despite the rain, my wife and I enjoyed it very much
We very much enjoyed the Communist Tour led by Daniel. He had good stories to tell at each stop and we learned much.
Vasil was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. I learned a lot about the communist history of Bulgaria, as well as the history of communism in general. Thank you!
Wonderful guide, good tour and if you love history, a must. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and learned a lot while walking through charming Sofia
I was so so looking forward to this part of our holiday in Sofia and it certainly did not disappoint. Our guide was Nickolai and despite the inclement weather he made the walk both informative and thought provoking with his knowledgable manner together with many personal anecdotes gathered from mainly his own family who lived through a much different era of Sofias history. I learned more about modern history in just over 3 hours than i did in all my history lessons at school put together? Would really recommend.
One of the best tours I have ever done...and I have travelled to around 100 countries...so I mean exactly what I just said...I was initially a bit skeptical when I saw a young guide coz I prefer to hear from people who have lived during the communist era...but Nikolai simply blew the group away...he was very well researched...knew exactly how to captivate the audience and gave us so many incredible details..and spoke impeccable English...in short it was absolutely brilliant...one tour you should never miss if u are in Sofia...also I will recommend the free walking tour run by the same group...its called 365...they are brilliant!!!
