I would make a few suggestions for improvement. First, they should group the tourist groups by language. We had half English, half Italian, so the guide had to repeat everything at least twice. The tour guide really should have a microphone and everyone have on headsets. Besides the language differences of our group, some people were at the front of the boat and some were at the back. Between the engine noise, the heavy accent of our guide and varying locations, we missed most of what was said.
picked up from our hotel down to sorrento port, we were met by our skipper and his fab jet boat felt like movie stars, Capri is amazeing, yes it,s busy but a must see whilst in italy, after a few hours on capri, our lovely skipper took us around amalfi in the jet boat and was very knowledgable, overall amazeing from the get go, and in so much luxury.
My husband and I knew we wanted to visit Capri but wanted something more personalized and also financially doable. We were thrilled to have booked this small boat tour with Giovanni as our captain. We had plenty of time to cruise through Capri and Anacapri, but the actual boat tour around the island, into all the beautiful grottos and personalized pick up and drop off at our hotel made this extremely special. Highly recommended!
I was incredibly disappointed with this tour and our guide. The description on the website promises swimming which was the entire reason I chose this type of an excursion, to swim! We were also promised access to the blue grotto but we were never given the opportunity to do so. I thought that maybe I had misread the description but other groups on the boat were also under the impression that swimming and the blue grotto were part of this experience. When we inquired about the specifications of the tour our skipper was not friendly and made us feel like we were stupid. The sites were beautiful but chose a different tour.
