Pass By: Ischia Porto, Ischia Porto, Ischia, Isola d'Ischia, Province of Naples, Campania
Upon meeting your guide at the main port of Sorrento, Marina Piccola, you'll board a shared ferry to cross the waters over to Ischia Island. You'll meet your private car upon arrival, and you'll drive to the first stop of the tour, where you'll enjoy a good coffee and and “Sfugliatella” - cream-filled local pastry resembling stacked leaves.
Pass By: Castello Aragonese, 80077, Ischia, Isola d'Ischia Italy
You'll meet your private car upon arrival, and you'll drive to the first stop of the tour, where you'll enjoy a good coffee and and “Sfugliatella” - cream-filled local pastry resembling stacked leaves.
Afterwards, you'll head to Ischia Ponte to see the ancient village of Celsa, famous for the Aragonese Castle of Ischia: mysteriously standing out of the sea, detached from the rest of the island. Here, you'll stop at a traditional fruit and vegetable booth to taste some seasonal fruits. You'll also stop at the oldest bakery in Ischia.
Pass By: La Spiaggia e la Baia di Cartaromana, Ischia, Isola d'Ischia Italy
Next, you'll drive over to Cartaromana Beach, a famous thermal area which overlooks the Aragonese Castle, where you can take a moment to enjoy the views.
Pass By: Serrara Fontana, Serrara Fontana, Isola d'Ischia, Province of Naples, Campania
Afterwards, you'll board your vehicle and head to Fontana: the smallest and highest town of Ischia, where you will taste a delicious pasta dish and drink extraordinary wine in a restaurant totally inlaid on a big rock of green stone.
.
Pass By: Sant'Angelo (Serrara Fontana), Isola d'Ischia Italy
Then you'll head to Sant’Angelo. On the way, you'll be able to observe “Fumarole”: a phenomenon resulting from the volcanic activity. Out from the ground, a great thermal energy emanates and produces clouds of vapor in the external atmosphere and bubbles of gas of around 212-degrees F/100-degrees C. Since the times of Romans, the warm sand was used to cure body pains through sand-baths. During the centuries these thermal waters have had many uses, including using the heat for culinary purposes.
At the end of the tour, your driver will take you back to the port, and your guide will assist you with your ferry return to Sorrento.

Excellent tour of Ischia island - well-designed itinerary that allowed me to see so much of Ischia in just one day with the comfort of the fast transfers between destinations in an air-conditioned van driven by a skillful driver. Giuseppe was the fun and a very knowledgable guide with impeccable English, being native to Ischia, he shared tons of quite interesting and useful information and his obvious passion for the island, its beauty that of the local people! Highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Ischia island. May well do it again myself !!
We had a great tour with our guide! We spent two weeks in italy and this was the best day we had. We booked a last minute tour and all arrangements were perfect. Giuseppe, our guide, was friendly, knowledgeable and very informative, so passionate! Born and grown in Ischia, he knows all the legends and stories of the island. We also ate a lot! The local food is tasty, from breakfast to lunch we loved everything! We first stopped at Bar Calise to have breakfast with coffee and Sfogliatella pastry. The island is full of typical places where taste delicacies and the mortadella sandwich was so special! We learned about the culture and the food and I saw sights I'll never forget! I strongly recommend this tour!
