Itinerary
Pick up your stand-up paddleboard at the rental office near the beach in South Lake Tahoe, and after a quick safety and instructional briefing, head to the water and hop on your board. The staff at the rental shop can give you recommendations on where to paddle, if you like.
Stand-up paddleboards are both fun and offer a great workout, and it’s easier to get the hang of them than you may think! As you get going and start feeling comfortable, paddle in whatever direction strikes your fancy. When you look up, you’ll be in awe of your exceptional position — standing on the surface of shimmering Lake Tahoe, surrounded by the snowcapped peaks of the Sierras.
During your 1 hour rental, explore the waters around South Lake Tahoe at your own pace, paddling along the shoreline and finding out-of-the-way spots. If you need a break, just sit down on your board (don’t drop your paddle!) and soak up the sun while you float.
When your time is up, just return the paddleboard to the marina.
