On arrival at Monkeyland you are met at the gate by a guide, who will take you to reception, where you will be provided with a tour guide and tour time. Tickets are day tickets so you can go on as many tours as you like during the day. If you buy a combination ticket to include one of the other 2 sanctuaries, it works out cheaper. You do not have to do them on the same day. Monkeyland is open in all weather conditions, and does not charge disabled people or those younger than 3. Mosquito cream is recommended; however, free cream is given to put on before tours start during mosquito season. Bring your camera but note that Go Pro extenders/cellphone selfie sticks are not allowed in.
The tours depart every 15 to 20 minutes in high season; the waiting period could go up to 45 minutes. All tours depart from the deck area next to the restaurant at Monkeyland. Tours last on average 1 hour. A shorter or longer tour can be requested and will be honored, if possible. Language guides in German and French are at times available; please feel free to ask. Requesting a language guide like German or French might result in an additional waiting time no longer than 1 hour. Once your tour has completed, you can request a 2nd/3rd/4th tour from reception .
