A visit to the gracious Chinese Pavilion is a must if you go to Drottningholm World Heritage Site. It appears like a fairy palace in the woods and it is decorated according to how Europeans dreamed about how it was to live the the far-away China. You will among other things see Chinese-inspired Swedish Rococo furniture, imported Chinese porcelain, silk wallpapers and exclusive works of art. The Pavilion consist in total of 15 different rooms, all with Chinese decorations and lots of works of art. We will also see a handful other buildings in the surroundings like the Confidence which was used as a private dining room. There will be audioguides available.
