Itinerary

- Pick up from airport/hotel in Surabaya at 7pm
- Travel to Bromo area (approx. 4 hours)
- Arrive at Cemara Lawang and change to a 4WD Jeep to Penanjakan, the best Milky way viewpoint (approx. 1 hour)
- Enjoy the dazzling Milky Way. You will need a DSLR camera to take Milky Way photos and the best time is after full moon
- Continue to enjoy the spectacular sunrise at the peak of Mount Bromo
- Discover Hill of Love for a photo stop and marvel at Indonesia’s ravishing sceneries
- Cross the Sea of Sand. If you are a thrill-seeker, you can rent a horse to the smouldering crater (approx. 20 mins)
- Finish the last leg of the journey, climb a flight of stairs to reach the rim of Bromo Crater (approx. 15 mins)
- Transfer to jeep and return to the city
- Visit the legendary Madakaripura Waterfall, a grand enchantment for those ravenous for historical experience on the way to Surabaya
- Drop off at Surabaya airport or any hotel in Surabaya by 1pm if you skip the waterfall; or 4pm if you visit the waterfall
