Come to Dongshan county by Taihu Lake to enjoy the time to the local tea platation. Biluochun Tea has been around since the Ming Dynasty –- more than 1,000 years. It’s one of the most famous green teas in China. It’s exclusive because while most green teas use three parts of the plant, the bud and the two leaves, Biluochun tea uses only two parts: the bud and the first leaf.

In the afternoon travel back to Suzhou city to the Suzhou Silk Embroidery Institute to learn the local art.Suzhou embroidery is one of the oldest embroidery techniques in the world, with origins stretching back more than 2,000 years. Suzhou embroidery was one of the first embroidery styles to be developed in China, but its detailed needlework and intricate images are still produced today.

The evening activity is Kunqu Opera, one of the oldest extant forms of Chinese opera. It evolved from the Kunshan melody, and dominated Chinese theatre from the 16th to the 18th centuries. The style originated in the Wu cultural area. It is listed as one of the Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO since 2001.
