Stop At: Suzhou Market Street, Suzhoujie, Suzhou China
In the morning, your friendly guide will meet you at your hotel lobby in Suzhou, and then visit a local fresh food market, where at the market you can see the local customs and their old fashioned way to shop for food.
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Pingjiang Road, Pingjiang District, Suzhou China
Then from there we take the Rickshaw tour around the old town of Suzhou, on our tour, we will visit Pingjiang Road,a historical street in Suzhou that is next to Pingjiang River. Its historical district is one of the best preserved areas of the ancient city of Suzhou. Pingjiang Road is a unique setting, as it is along a variety of small canals, characteristic stores and typical Suzhou style houses. Also, we will visit the flower and bird market. There you will find not only many kinds of flowers, pets and bonsai trees, but also friendly local people.
After the Rickshaw tour, our experience tour guide will take you to a local family at their home for lunch, where you will learn how to make Chinese Wontons and enjoy a game of majong if desired.
