jenolan caves has many different caves . We visited Lucas. Such a thrilling experience. I am not sure about the Combo of blue mountains and caves. We stopped by for an hour in a village and i personally felt that was so unnecessary. If we would have drove straight to the caves then we could have had little more time On blue mountains. AAT certainly could have avoided that hour in town.
Cave is very very okay however, we havent seen the 3 sisters because of fog. had to pay additional money for the ride going up
The cave itself was so amazing. It was so worthy of visiting such wonderful nature site. The drive was very safe thanks to the skillful driver, Ben did all the safe driving for all those twists and turns on the mountain roads.
It was an interesting tour. The caves were amazing. Roland, our driver and guide was doing a great job, provided wonderful nuggets of information and gave us an insight. Same for Alan, our guide to the mountains. The videos played on our journey gave us interesting information on Australia.
This tour is great if you want to get out of the city. The caves were really good, quite large. The driver stopped at a couple of locations on the way for photos, and for people to pick up lunch. The drive was long and the tour took all day.
I would have given it 5 stars except for the stop at Blue Mountains. The entire Blue Mountains 'experience' probably lasted all of 10 minutes. Our driver allowed us 20 minutes to be back at the bus. Between walking to and from the viewpoint and stopping at the restroom, no more than 10 minutes was left to look around and take pictures! In contrast, there was ample time to look around before the caves tour. The bus driver/tour guide was very professional in his handling of the group and giving us commentaries about the sights. The title of this tour should have been 'Jenolan Caves Motorcoach Day Tour with a 10-Minute Stop at the Blue Mountains Echo Point Lookout.'
