About this activity

We leave Sydney behind and and make our way through apple growing country out to the old Zig Zag Railway. From here we hit the dirt and make our way to the Glow Worm tunnel and morning tea including fresh coffee. There is an easy grade 30 minute walk to the tunnel itself and at the end we emerge into a lush palm valley. We head from here via some 4-wheel-drive trails to the Lost City, which is an expansive set of weathered stone outcrops that look like an ancient lost city. We jump back on the 4WD trails and head for Wolgan valley via the Black Fellow Hand Trail. This leads us to the Newnes Pub (dry) where we have a late lunch. We head for home from here via a couple of lookouts in the Blue Mountains.

An absolutely wonderful day in the capable hands of Chris. Would highly recommend this adventure! We hiked on a beautiful trail and had fun in a really cool tunnel where the glow worms live.
