Nice journey but the drive is too long compare on the time there. The driver/guide is really interesting and very helpfull. Thanks to him.
I did not enjoy the wineries we visited, I was expecting to go to wineries I am familiar with , as there are many world famous wines , we were taken to only 2 wine tastings, not 3 like the advertisement said. Lunch included one glass of wine and this was counted as a tasting? IT IS NOT , finally they took us to the last winery , which turned out to be a strip mall where we wasted 40 minutes before heading back to Sydney, I do not recommend this tour
Overall, a really good tour option. It was a long ride from Kings Cross to Hunter Valley (made worse because of traffic caused by a truck fire), so having a good driver is important. Jason was the best! Intelligent, funny, and patient, Jason made the trip for us. We loved both of the wineries visited - especially Leogate! Shout out to Vanessa! Lunch at Hunter Valley Resort wasn’t the best. Overall, I’d highly recommend the tour.
Our tour was fantastic right from the go with our hilarious coach driver, Stewart. He picked us right on time and then we proceeded through the city of Sydney to the Hunter Valley with a continuous commentary that gave us insights to the life, history and future of the areas we traversed. At the Hunter Valley we visited the three wineries, each gave us a good insight to their operations, tastings and a good send off with wines and wine related goods. The trip back was through the country to the city with commentary where needed and time to sleep. The on-board WIFI was much appreciated. Well done, and highly recommended!!
It was a great overall trip. We enjoyed the wineries and tastings. The lunch was a little strange - strange as in there were several family style dishes brought out that were different ethnic foods Italian, Asian, etc so it didn't quite match up. Overall though the trip was great!
Excellent tour...3 wineries visited tasting over 30 wines which was fab!
Loved the tour and bus driver. Thank you to them for reserving the front seat for me, I get sick sitting too far back. The lunch was delicious. ..highly recommend.
We went on this tour as non-drivers who wanted a glimpse of the Hunter Valley Gardens. We chatted with our guide Ben, who was more than happy to help us out and included an extra drop-off, meaning we were able to spend extra time in the amazing gardens we were happy to skip one of the wineries to allow for the extra time. Ben was a fantastic guide, and was very entertaining and informative. The wine tasting was lovely, lunch was fantastic and all in all it was an amazing day. We would definitely do this trip again, especially if Ben was our guide.
