Sherri did a great job showing me around the Rocks area, the harbor area of the Opera house, and parts of the wharf. A great history lesson and had fun learning along the way. Thanks to Lynn for joining us and adding to the tour
This was a brilliant tour. Katherine our guide was born in Sydney and was very knowledgable and passionate about the local history. The walk lasted around 2 1/2 hours which mainly covered the interesting Rocks area. She pointed out and explained places of interest which we would never have known about. There was a lot of walking involved and a number of steps to climb , but it was all done at a leasurly pace. In fact two young children who were in our group managed it without a problem. There were a number of stops along the way for photo opportunities . If you want to find out about Sydneys chequered past ,then I can highly reccomend this tour.
We arrived late due to time mix up. The guide left a message for us to meet him at the museum. The lady who he left the message with was extremely rude. It took her 10 minutes to tell us the guide said meet him at the museum. Of course, by the time we arrived the tour was gone. We called the numbers listed and no one answered. This was a complete waste of money for the tour and long distance calling charges.
Our group of 6 had a great time with our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable of sydney's history and Australian / Maori culture. I would definitely recommend this walking tour
Very pleasant way to see the city with a local
Learned a lot in short time. Be prepared for stairs. I had a stroller and toddler with me so we had to carry stroller up and down stairs several times.
