Stop At: Sydney Opera House, Bennelong Point Easy walk from Circular Quay Train Station, Sydney, New South Wales 2000 Australia

Meet your small-group Tour Guide early in the morning to ensure that you can see the inner sanctum areas; access is restricted later in the day. Get a peek into the goings on backstage as you check out rehearsal space's and dressing rooms. You may even catch a glimpse of actors, dancers or musicians as they warm up!

Then, walk onstage where countless superstars have performed, taking in the Sydney Opera House from their perspective. You may also want to step onto the conductor's podium and view the orchestra section.

Throughout the morning, your knowledgeable guide shares industry secrets and insider stories about life backstage, as well as the history of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed building.

After touring backstage, tuck into a full continental breakfast served in the Green Room — the exclusive domain of performers and staff. Ask further questions and hear more stories as you enjoy a hearty meal. Choose from several hot and cold dishes with options for different dietary needs.

Performing arts fans of all stripes will relish the chance to experience the inner workings of the world's most iconic performing arts center! The tour is a walking tour and does contain approx 300 stairs.

Great, great tour! You get to see all the behind the scenes places that you never would in another tour. Some people complain that you can't take pictures in certain spots. Yes, that is true, but it is really only in the green room and stage sets that are not owned by the Opera House. Personally, I was more for the building and history and I was able to take pictures of all the things I wanted to in regards to those two things. Yvonne was amazing!

This was a very interesting tour. My husband took our nicer camera thinking we would get lots of interesting photos. However, because of copyright laws and privacy issues there are many areas that we were not allowed to photograph. So my advice would be to just plan on taking a few snapshots and just enjoy the sights and stories. Our guide was very nice and entertaining while showing us around. What you see and where you get to go may possibly depend on the shows and events that are taking place at the time of your tour. The breakfast was tasty. You are presented with a menu part way through the tour, and then your breakfast is ready for you at the conclusion. It was exciting to go inside the Opera House and see some of the behind the scenes areas and different venues that are within the buildings. It was definitely worth our time and the price of the ticket.

Very good “back stage” tour; get to see how all behind the scenes work gets done; we had access to all venues (told that was unusual as some can be off limits due to setup/production)... only negative was a so so breakfast in the green room (scrambled eggs were only half cooked); learned a lot.
