Stop At: Local Travel Planner, Sydney, New South Wales 2000 Australia
The experience begins when a friendly guide greets you at the meeting point. You'll be part of a small group of no more than 11 travellers aboard a comfortable minibus that takes you south out of the city along the beaches of Botany Bay and through the Royal National Park. First stop is Bald Hill Lookout, a popular launch site for hang gliders and para gliders, which affords sweeping views of the Illawarra coastline and the famous Sea Cliff Bridge.
After the break it's just a few minutes drive to the family-run Symbio Wildlife Park which is active in koala conservation. Here you'll find out everything you ever wanted to know about these fascinating marsupials during a private koala experience with a keeper. Snap the ultimate selfie - just you and a koala. You’ll also be able to hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies and get up close to other native Australian wildlife.
Next you'll meander along the Grand Pacific Drive traversing the Sea Cliff Bridge as it sweeps out over the ocean, well clear of the crumbling cliffs to which the old highway clung. You’ll continue to follow the scenic coastline to a golden beach where you’ll enjoy lunch in a café popular with locals with views out over the ocean. Bring your swimmers for a dip if the sun is out!
In the afternoon you’ll head up through temperate rainforest into the Southern Highlands. An easy hike leads to viewpoints that take in the spectacular sandstone gorges and towering waterfalls of the Morton National Park.
Finally, you’ll drive along country roads to a boutique winery to sample locally-produced, cool climate wine before returning to Sydney. Arrival back at Circular Quay is around 6:30pm.

This tour was absolutely amazing! Steve, not the owner, was absolutely hilarious and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Australia. The koalas were a big hit, as well as the roos and wallabies. Centennial Wine was fantastic with a delicious raspberry dessert wine. The waterfall in the Blue Mountains was also beautiful. This was one of our favorite days of honeymoon in Australia. I would recommend to everyone!
Steve was great, very knowledgeable about everything from the type of plants we saw on out trek through the Park to the types of animals we saw. Started out with a trip to the Wildlife reserve. Took pic and pet a koala then fed the kangaroos and explored. Then went to a national park to get a look at several waterfalls. Had a bit of a trek through the woods to look at some birds. Then went to a boutique winery, which had tasty wines We tried about 8-10 wines. All very small pours. My only complaint was that there should be more wine involved, less of the forest trek.
Unlike other tours, this took us through multiple national parks, through scenic outlooks, to a delicious beachside lunch (not just pub food!!) and to an animal habitat that allowed us to get up close and personal to koalas and feed kangaroos out of our hands! Other places you can only feed them through the fences!! Our tour guide Steve was friendly, knowledgeable, punctual, and really went out of his way to give us a great experience. Definitely recommend!!
