About this activity
Start your Taipei City Night Tour with hotel pickup in Taipei, and settle into luxurious comfort aboard your vehicle.
Firstly, you will enjoy Taiwanese hotpot or barbecue in the restaurant as your dinner.
Secondarily, you will be taken to Longshan Temple which is the most well known temple in Taiwan. It was built in 1738 by settlers from Fujian as a gathering place for Chinese settlers. Located in the old village part of Taipei, Wanhua District, this temple has stood the test of time and lasted through several natural disasters and wars.
Next, you will visit Huaxi Street Night Market. Most shops in the market are "old" that have been in operation for years, and have attained a position of prominence in Taiwanese culture and history. The most famous item in the market is snake soup, a unique treat found only on Huaxi Street. Other shops include more traditional goods, such as fortune-telling bookstores, boutiques, and traditional Chinese massage parlors.
You will then visit the famous landmark building - Taipei 101, it was officially classified as the world’s tallest building in 2004 and remained until the competition of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai in 2010. In 2001, the building was awarded the Leadership In Energy And Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum Certification which is the highest award according to LEED rating system, and became the tallest and largest green building in the world. You can buy your own ticket to go to Taipei 101 observation deck to have a spectacular view of the city in all directions.
Finally, you will transfer to your vehicle for the return drive to your hotel.
