About this activity
If you want to get certified, this is the option for you! You will start with a 90-minute theory session which starts at 2:30pm. During the theory session, you will spend 20-25 minutes in confined water.
You will continue the day after at 6am when you will go to Flamingo Beach. You will board a boat and stop in a calm and sheltered bay where you will be able to practice your diving skills. This practice in confined water is important for the peace and safety of the diver.
Afterwards, you will head to Catalina when the sea is calm, or to Brumel. Then you will dive two times, but not deeper than 12 meters (30 ft). You will return to Tamarindo at around 1pm.

- Diving within 18 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
