Our ferry from Tarifa Spain was an hour late but Hamid was still there waiting for us at the port with my name on a big sign as promised. He made us feel comfortable and welcomed all day. He gave us great insights into Moroccan culture and was very accommodating. The tour met and exceeded our expectations. Our pre-trip communication with Chaara from Upmarket was excellent. I would highly recommend Hamid to any other visitors!
Since we had a morning tour of Tangier's Old Town through our cruise line, we wanted to see other highlights of Tangier. Our guide, Achmed, was very responsive to our request. We had a wonderful overview of other sections of the city and a panoramic drive along the coast, stopping at Cap Spartel and the Caves of Hercules, as well as an enjoyable stop to ride the camels and walk the beach along the Atlantic. The views of the Mediterranean and the Atlantic were beautiful, and Achmed was a very knowledgeable, personable and fun guide. Our whole group of 10 thoroughly enjoyed this tour and appreciated all of Achmed's efforts to make our stop in Tangier memorable. We all highly recommend this tour especially with Achmed. Thank you!
Get Achmed as a guide. So enthusiatic!!!
Incredibly rich and varied experience. Ahmed the guide was beyond outstanding and was completely knowledgeable about the city and local environs of Tangiers. Cost was about 54 US. Identical trip with cruise line was 169.
We have done a number of very good Viator tours but the private Tangier tour with Ahmed was by far the best. He was in touch with us the day before the tour to give us tips regarding the ferry to and from Tarifa and confirm our meeting point which was where the ferry docked. We enjoyed a drive with a very polite Mr. Mustafa down the coast with several stops the Hercules Grotto was amazing then did a walking tour of the city. Ahmed was very responsive to our interests and had a wealth of information about Tangier and Morocco. Very good tour of the Medina, Souks and Casbah, along with a tea break and perfect lunch spot with live entertainment. Ahmed's tour was well beyond our expectations. Too bad we did could not do more days with him in Morocco!
