An excellent and informative way to understand more about Mount Etna's history, including the previous eruptions and the lasting impact they have had. We learnt also about basic geology which was amazing and hiked through craters which was more challenging than I initially thought. The tour is not explicit about whether a trip to the summit is included - it is not - which we found disappointing as we had expected to see it. The tour guide, Roberto, was knowledgable and had a warm personality which we welcomed.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of interesting information on Mt. Etna and volcanoes in general! The group size was perfect and we really enjoyed the day. The only negative was that the tour was quite disorganized beforhand - I had to call several times before I was given a meeting point, and the tour started late without any communication that it would be running a bit late.

I am so glad I decided to take this tour. Although there is walking up and down hill involved, it was worth the effort. Our guide really knew about the volcano because he is involved in monitoring potential eruptions and he provided information in a way that was entertaining. The lunch afterwards was good as well. For the price, I think it was a great value. Take comfortable, no slip, enclosed shoes and layers because it is cooler at the higher elevation.

Thoroughly enjoyed tour, great sites, plenty photo opps, just enough info without getting too technical, tour guide was great and the lunch with wine a perfect and relaxing way to finish the day!
