Want to do something different? … Deep underground in the heart of the Waikato is a series of unique caves that will take your breath away. Take this awesome day trip to see the amazing Waitomo Glow-Worm Caves, descending into the world-famous caves enjoy the world famous boat ride as you marvel at the thousands of tiny glow worms and the wondrous display as they radiate their luminescent lights. On the return journey, we stop at the rural township of Otorohonga to view our iconic national bird, the Kiwi at the Otorohanga Kiwi and Native bird sanctuary.

On the return trip, we visit Otorohanga, Kiwi House & Native Bird Park. The Park has been conserving kiwi and other endemic NZ native birds and reptiles since the 1970s. See 3 different breeds of active kiwi throughout the day. Walk through New Zealand's largest free-flight dome aviary. One of the highlights is the unique Tuatara - a native New Zealand reptile which pre-dates the dinosaurs.
