Day 2: Tbilisi-Telavi-Nafareuli-Gremi-Kvareli

Depart for Kakheti which is well-known wine making region with outstanding cultural heritage. Visit Qvevri Wine Museum and Winery Khareba. Explore historical architectural complex such as “Batonis Tsikhe” ( a Fortress of Master) in Telavi, Ikalto monastery, Alaverdi Cathedral and Gremi complex. Overnight in Kvareli.

Day 3: Kvareli-Signagi-David Gareja-Tbilisi

Continue the trip into the Kakheti and visit Signagi, also known as a city of love. Here you can walk on some parts of the largest defensive walls in Georgia (4 km long), narrow streets with 19th c old houses with wooden balconies. Then depart for David Gareja monastery complex and visit the medieval age cave complex. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 4: Tbilisi-Mtskheta-Kazbegi

Travel to the ancient capital of Georgia Mtskheta. Walk in the old streets of the town and visit the UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Svetitskhoveli and Jvari Monastery. Then depart for Ananuri. In the evening arrive in Kazbegi town and visit the stunning Gergeti Trinity church. Overnight in Kazbegi.

Day 5: Kazbegi – Gori-Uplistsikhe-Kutaisi

Take a tour to Gori, a birthplace of the Soviet Dictator Joseph Stalin and visit the Stalin Museum. Then depart for Uplistsikhe, a Fortress of the Lord, which is a cave town carved in the 1 millennia BC. After it, travel to the Western Georgia and visit its main city – Kutaisi. Overnight in Kutaisi.

Day 6: Kutaisi-Gelati-Okatse-Martvili-Kutaisi

Visit the Bagrati Cathedral (11th c) and Gelati monastery complex (12th), which are the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Then depart for Okatse canyon and Martvili Canyon and take a boat tour into the canyon. Overnight in Kutaisi.

Day 7: Kutaisi-Borjomi-Rabati-Vardzia

Travel to eastern Georgia and visit Borjomi, a town famous of its mineral waters. Then visit Rabati castle complex, located in the region of Samtskhe-Javakheti. Then depart for Vardzia and explore its cave monastery complex which was cut off in 12th centuries and now includes more than 600 caves. Overnight in Vardzia

Day 8: Vardzia-Foka-Tbilisi

Travel back to Tbilisi. On the way, explore Javakheti nature. Stop at the largest lake – Paravani and visit the Foka convent. Arrival in Tbilisi and Transfer to the Airport
