Full-day tour to Uplistsikhe and Borjomi from Tbilisi

Early in the morning meet your guide near the Peace Bridge in order to start your day full of discoveries. Our first exploration on the list is the cave city Uplistsikhe dating back to the 1st millennium BC. The entire landmark is carved into the solid rock. Uplistsikhe used to be a major pagan center before Georgia adopted Christianity in the 4th century. At present, only 150 caves have been preserved but in the heyday of the city there used to be 700 caves. This site has been subscribed into the UNESCO world heritage list.

Later, we will drive to Borjomi – a famous resort town with mineral springs and lush forests. We will stroll through the national park Borjomi-Kharagauli, which is considered as one of the largest protected parks in Europe. Here, we will take a ride on the cable car and the Ferris wheel. We will also have traditional Georgian dinner paired with good local wine. In the evening you will be transported back to the capital.
