About this activity
Whole tour ~ 300 km. Tour starts at 9-10 am. Tour ends at 5-6 pm.

The tour starts with a direct pick-up at your hotel in Tbilisi. You will be traveling in a comfortable car or jeep while your driver/guide will accompany you throughout the whole day. The driver is communicative and has a good knowledge of Georgian history, so he will show you the sites and tell all the interesting facts and stories from Georgian history, life, culture and traditions.

The tour is private and you will not share it with other guests what makes it more personal and flexible.

The places you will visit:
• Wine house in one of the villages in Kakheti. Lunch. You will be met by the owners of the house who will show you the place and introduce with the history and process of traditional Georgian wine making. You will try few sorts of their made wine and traditional Georgian spirit drink called chacha. After you will participate in two short master classes: during one of them you will learn to make Kakhetian bread in traditional way, while the second one will let you to make traditional Kakhetian sweet - churchkelas. The sweet is very popular in all the Georgia and often referred to as "Georgian Snickers". After all you will be invited to a table where home made lunch will be served. Traditional lunch is made of the best local products and includes few appetizers, few main meals home bread and of-course glass of home wine. 
• Sighnaghi - the gem of Kakheti. After the lunch at the wine house you will go to Sighnaghi - a recognized UNESCO world heritage site. The town is famous for one of the major Georgian fortresses whose walls circle the city's old town to this day. Sighnaghi impresses travelers with its unique charm, colorful houses, wooden balconies, flowers and amazing view to Caucasus Mountains. Sighnaghi is also known as town of festivals – festivals celebrating folk music, dance, food and, the biggest autumn wine festival in the country - all take place in this pretty town throughout the year. Moreover, Sighnaghi is also called the town of love, because once you have made up your mind, you can get married there – any time of day or night. 
• The museum of Sighnaghi. During the excursion at this amazing town you will visit the museum of Sighnaghi. Here you will be met by professional museum's guide who will tell you the story of this town and introduce you to the life and art work of the most famous Georgian painter - Niko Pirosmani (1862-1918) whose collection is exhibited in the museum.
