Your journey begins, after getting picked up at your central Tel Aviv hotel, with a drive through the Judean Desert toward Jericho. Along the way, you will pass the Good Samaritan Inn before stopping at sea level to enjoy the magnificent scenery.

Arrive in Jericho, one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world, and admire the lush greenery that is in stark contrast to the dry desert you have passed through. Visit Zacchaeus’ sycamore fig, one of the city’s most famed attractions, before moving on to an overview of the Mount of Temptation, where Jesus was tempted by the Devil.

Your time in Jericho also includes a visit to Tel e-Sultan, an archaeological site that has uncovered more than 20 settlements dating back thousands of years.

Venture next to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ. Your excursion takes in the Church of the Nativity and Manger Square. On the way out of the city, you will see the numerous shepherd fields that surround Bethlehem.

This is not a tour. It is someone arranging rides poorly. Picked up at my hotel by an angry cab driver because I did not go outside. I did not even know a cab was coming. Dropped off at another hotel and greeted by no one. Picked up by a van. Taken to Jerusalem and handed off to another van. Taken to the occupied territories and handed off to another van. Nice tour of Bethlehem. Drooped off at a gift shop, without a guide and told to wait for another van. Driven to Jericho, nice tour of Jericho. Driven back near Jerusalem and dropped off on the roadside, unattended and then a few minutes later a van showed up to take us to Tel Aviv. This and all the other drivers never checked us in, knew our names, etc. The last van did not know where I was to be taken. Dropped me off at a hotel in Tel Aviv and ordered a cab for me. If I accounted for the 10 different vehicles then I have done my job.

Tour was great. Both the Bethlehem and Jericho tour guides were very knowledgeable. Recommend a stop for a snack in Bethlehem since luch in Jericho is after 3pm.

Fabulous tour. Staff/tour guides were very knowledgeable and pleasant. Tour co was on time and bus exchanges going into the Palestinian territories were seamless. Felt comfortable all the time. Bethlehem was so interesting and Jericho was amazing. Great lunch on Mt. Temptation and tram ride up the mountain were worth the added cost. Really enjoyed the day.
