Jerusalem Private Tour from Tel Aviv

Be picked up from your hotel in Tel Aviv to be transferred to Jerusalem. After 1 hour you will reach Mount Scopus to enjoy a view over the Judean Desert, the smallest desert in the world located between Jerusalem and the Jordan Valley. You will also see the difference between the desert and the city of Jerusalem.

From the Mount of Olives you will see the City of David, Mount Moria, and Temple Mount, the Dome of the Rock, Mount Zion, and the domes of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Dominus Plavis and the Basilica of Agony churches in the Mount of Olives. You will hear a description of the history of Jerusalem from the perspective of the three monotheistic religions, and will understand the importance of Jerusalem to all. 

You will then move onto the Old City of Jerusalem. First up visit the Jewish Quarter where the Byzantine Cardo was built in the sixth century, the Broad Wall of the First Temple Mount Period, the roofs that are located in the meeting point of the 4 parts of the Old City, the Western Wall which is part of the Second Temple Mount of King Herod. Next up see the Muslim Quarter - Look over the Dome of the Rock, on top of Temple Mount. Finally see the Christian Quarter - the 14 Stations of the Cross (the Via Dolorosa), you will walk through the way of the last day of Jesus. The Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the place of crucifixion, the burial and the resurrection.

You will then be able to spend time at the local Bazaar before driving through the institutions of the Capitol City: the Kneset, the Government Offices and the Supreme Court. You will have lunch in an authentic restaurant in the Old City. At the end of the day you will return to Tel Aviv.
