Tour the ancient archaeological site and learn how King Herod built this amazing fortress compound on top of the steep mountain, how Masada became a symbol of the ancient Kingdom of Israel and hear stories of its violent destruction and the last stand of Jewish patriots in the face of the Roman army in 73 A.D Leaving Jerusalem we drive down toward the famous palaces and forts of Masada built by king Herod 2000 years ago during the Roman era;
