About this activity
After morning pickup at your hotel in Tirana, drive towards Marikaj to visit a farm situated in a former antimissile rocket settlement.
Spend about one hour exploring the farm and lake, and learn about Albania's farming traditions. Try local goods including wine that has been aged in a bunker, raki, and cheese.
Continue north to Lalezi Bay, which boasts an expansive sandy beach and small seafood restaurants where you can purchase lunch. Have a couple of hours to eat and swim, then drive to Cape Rodoni to visit another set of bunkers, built to protect Albania from an attack approach by sea. You’ll also stop to see the beautiful old Catholic church and take a break to for a swim.
At the end of about nine hours, your guide returns you to Tirana.
