My wife and I took the full day trip and had a great time. The water was very clear and this viewpoint of the outlying islands and Sicily was great! A couple of tips ... the water was colder than we expected for June at about 18 Celsius... we would have enjoyed it more had we brought wet suits to help us handle the colder water temp better ... They did provide masks and snorkels, but if you like a particular type of mask or snorkel, you may want to bring that as the ones provided were fairly basic ...
