Really amazing! Highly recommended.
This tour was really fun and informative. We got to feed and interact with the reindeer it was so cool. The food was so delicious, three courses from the land. I would highly recommend this tour. We even saw the northern lights!
The tour was amazing. The dinner and reindeer were unbelievable; but learning about the Sami culture and learning a traditional song, with the entire group joining in to sing it was unforgettable!!!
John and Thor were wonderful guides and hosts! They were personable and gave us so much interesting information on the reindeer. On our trip we were lucky enough to view the northern lights. Inside our camp we had an outstanding dinner with the main course being reindeer stew. We learned a lot about the Sami culture, the clothes they wore, how they survived and how they are living now. We had a warm fire and great fellowship. My husband looked a little cold so they dressed him up in authentic outerwear. He said he was toasty. I recommend this trip to anyone and everyone!
This was a wonderful evening, simple, homely, heartfelt friendliness sitting round the fire in the picture above, laughing and joking with our Sami host and learning about his special way of life. We were a small group so it was easy to chat together, comparing photos and trying on the Sami traditional hats, after a steaming bowl of reindeer stew, and salmon wraps. Feeding the reindeer was an experience never to forget, out In the snow by lamplight, we had buckets of food ready as they emerged from the darkness, antlers everywhere, pushing their noses hard into the buckets. Makes for some interesting photos if you are trying to control the camera in the other hand. I loved this evening and would certainly recommend it.
