Tasting session at Champagne Gremillet near Troyes

Our visit starts where it all begins: in the vineyards. Not just any vineyard, Clos Rocher: a 1,40 hectare plot planted with Pinot Noir, surrounded by low stone walls and iron gates. It is exposed South/South East and is one of the few “clos” (enclosed vineyard) in the champagne region!

Our visit continues with the Arboretum, an original idea conceived by our founder, Jean-Michel Gremillet, who wanted to see as many conifers of various origins as the number of countries in which our Champagne is enjoyed : 82 in total. A rightful tribute to the French Embassies the world over, long standing customers of our company. The Arboretum is also a strong symbol of our values and a perennial message for future generations.

Finally, you will discover our cellar including our grape presses, vats, disgorgement and labelling work stations… All the steps of the Champagne profuction will be revealed to you. After travelling back in time in our museum and walking through our cellars, you will arrive at the much awaited tasting of 3 champagnes.
