Tulip was beautiful!! We had a great guide that told us of the best places to get pictures.
The bus was very dirty, someone had thrown up, and it wasn't cleaned up very well, and there were ants everywhere : The bus broke down at Tulum, and we had to wait an hour for a new bus, the newer bus was much cleaner, and the driver and George were nice. Would not go again :
This tour was well below our expectations. We felt as though we wasted the last day of vacation and were very unhappy. We were told that a bus would pick us up at 7:10am outside our resort - which it did. A very large bus pulled up and we were the very first passengers on board. We then spent the next 1 1/2 hours traveling in and out of every resort within a 1 mile radius picking up additional passengers. Talk about a WASTE OF OUR TIME!!! Then it was a very long 1.5-2 hours additional travel time to even GET to Tulum! The Tulum experience itself was okay. Really only took about 15 minutes to explore all there is to see there. Our tour guide did the best he could with his broken english and accent. We understood maybe about half of what he was saying. It was insanely hot so our patience level was also not there. However, we did enjoy lunch and some beers at a cute little pizza place before boarding the bus again to come back to our resort. We were told to board the bus by 1:30pm and not be late. Of course there were a few passengers that were 15 minutes late so that aggravated us even more! We pulled back into our resort at 4:30pm. It was a big time waste of a day! Advice to anyone traveling to Tulum - look into a taxi cab or an Uber cab or private van to transport you there. DO NOT get on the large buses as you will spend way too much time picking up other passengers at the various resorts that are next door to you.
Well presented and interesting tour.. Lovely and considerate tour guide and nice picnic
George was great. Tulum was worth the trip from the Hotel Zone. We had time to swim but didn't bring bathing suits. Tulum was busier than I thought it would be but we still got some good photos.
