Great trip. It does take an hour to get to the launch site.
the pick-up from Hotel, the driver, the staff and the facilities were just top grade. The equipment, toilets and lockers and showers were just 5star. The instructors were friendly and made us professional rafters within minutes! The lunch after the rafting was just marvelous. The down side to it- don't even think of doing it if you don't have leg muscles- unfortunately this is not mentioned anywhere!! You have to walk about 600 steps down to the river, and its wet, slipperry and some places 40 degrees steep. Then at the end of all the fun and exhausting rafting be prepared to climb up about 800 steps- wooff it was so tiring and felt like you were climbing a 30 story building- it practically destroyed me and my wife and we suffered severe thigh and leg muscles aches for the next two days!
Great fun recommended!!
Though the rafting is pretty tame, the experience of seeing Bali this way is 100 worth it!!! Our guide even let us get out to swim a bit and stand underwater falls. It's a treck to get to the rafts and there are a lot of rocks in the water so a shoe you can wear in water is recommended over flip flops.
Very exciting tour, wasn't easy and not too rough either so great for all ages!
