About this activity
Your tour begins when you are picked up from your accommodation and are driven to the hilly Kintamani volcano area of Bali. On your way, you will make a stop off at the local Village School for you to meet and experience a typical rural Bali school. A portion of your tour cost is donated and used to purchase essential school work items for the children of the School, which will be distributed to the children during your visit. If you like, you can also bring along some extra items to personally give to the children when you visit the School.
You will then be taken to an organic farm for a unique coffee tasting experience before driving up to enjoy a light Breakfast, whilst admiring the magnificent view of Lake Batur.
After Breakfast, you Cycle downhill from Kintamani to Ubud, which will take approximately 3.5 hours cycling. During the cycle, you will experience the rural panoramic areas of Bali while your local, trained guide will explain the culture, traditions and realities of Balinese life and culture.
A short break is made by taking a visit to a local family compound where you interact with the locals. There will be a local priest who accompanies you with a cup of coffee while having a genuine conversation with the guide as the translator. This is a great opportunity to learn about Balinese family and rural life.
Arriving at the finishing point of your cycling adventure you will be able to have a Balinese lunch in the Padi Organic restaurant in the village of Laplapan. This village is surrounded by rice paddies.
Your tour ends when you are taken back to your accommodation.
