Itinerary
From GER to GER's Office, you will be guided to our Master Calligrapher's Studio; at our resident Master Instructor’s studio she’ll provide you a 2 hour introduction of Mongolian Calligraphy that includes the basic holding techniques, strokes, hand-postures and different pressure techniques. Mongolia’s Calligraphy is unique among its Asian counterparts - firstly the Script is written/read vertically, secondly its alphabet is a balanced between consonants and vowels (c, v, c, v and so on), etc.
During this "Experience" you will learn about Calligraphy which is famed across most of the Asian Continent - from Japan, China to the middle East - Calligraphy is an ancient art and meditation method commonly reserved for society’s most educated and elite.
Duration: approx. 4 hours
Transportation: Walking distance (less than 20 min) along the way visit Chinggis Square
