About this activity

Meet and greet a professional guide at the Milltown Marina dock in Vancouver, BC for an escort to the custom, 23-foot, Grady White Gulfstream offshore sport fishing boat. After introductions and a safety briefing, travel down the north arm of the mighty Fraser River for a scenic boat ride out to the Pacific Ocean.

Drop a few crab traps when in season, and head off to the favorite fishing holes to troll for Pacific salmon. The guides will demonstrate their proven techniques of catching salmon and point out the many beautiful sights the Vancouver area has to offer from the water. See many forms of marine life, birds, and some mammals while fishing.

As the day comes to an end, the guides will stop to pick up the crab traps and inspect the catch for the day. Then head back up the river to the Milltown Marina dock where the guides will process the day's catch and offer a send off with new friends and wonderful memories.

Captain Guy did an admirable job as our guide. The boat was nice, equipment in good condition and Guy was very personable. It was clear he was a very experienced guide and fisherman.
