Chuck was very knowledgable. I feel like I got a comprehensive view of the city. He Was willing to stop at select locations and get out for pictures. Was enjoyable and absolutely worth it.
This was an incredible tour of Vancouver including Stanley Park, Queen Elizabeth Park, Granville Island, and Gas Town where we were given time to shop, look around, and take photos, We had delays getting into port, but Chuck worked around this and gave us a great tour of the city. My wife had some issues walking and was constantly checking on her to be sure she was doing well. This tour should be in the Carnival list of available tours. Thanks Chuck for an incredible tour of Vancouver!!! Ken, Nancy, Andrew, and Christopher
Our guide Chuck picked us at the cruise terminal. I was worried he would never find us but that worry was not necessary. He told us to call him when we were ready. We did that and there he was. He gave us a four hour tour of the town and let us decide when we were ready to move on. We enjoyed Stanley Park, had a quick lunch down in the arts section, toured China town, Elizabeth Park and gastown. He then took us to our hotel and helped us unload all our luggage. Nothing but good things to say about Viator.
Taking a private car is the way to go because it really saves time. my only suggestion is don't go the the same places as the buses visit in the same order vere off to other interesting places where buses cannot go! its a car ok?? Also since we are paying private car prices how about a bottle of water . and a map of the city would be nice. when we get out to explore on our own. otherwise it was great!!
Perfect day, perfect driver/guide. Great pace - all the things we wanted to see and more!
This tour fit our family perfectly - the driver was friendly and knowledgeable. We were only staying in Vancouver for the final night of our 17 day vacation and were looking for something that would give us a taste of the city as we knew we would be tired. I was surprised to see an older limo pull up to the hotel think 1980s extended Cadillac - but the ride was smooth, the car very clean, and my 19 year old sat in the 3rd bench area taking cat naps throughout the afternoon! The driver, Keenan, made sure to ask how active we wanted the tour to be, and tailored the experience to our preferences. We visited both Queen Elizabeth Gardens and Stanley Park - both lovely green spaces in the city. He also shared China Town, drove by the beaches, and - at my request - passed by the Olympic Cauldron though because of a marathon, he could not park nearby. We ended our tour at Granville Island for a snack and a bit of shopping in the impressive marketplace.
