The guide(Steve) was awesome and was very informative. We saw a ton! Hotel pickup and dropoff was great.
Shannon Falls was a beautiful sight. Going up the gondola have you gorgeous views of the glacial mountains. The only part that was just okay was the britannica mine. I didn’t have time to stifle through for treasure but I did get some good pictures. Howe Sound is just amazing:)
A Great Day Trip! We had a day to spend in Vancouver prior to boarding our cruise ship. We had been to Vancouver several times and wanted to visit the surrounding area. Paula was our driver/guide. She was very good with her facts and had a great sense of humor. She is from the Vancouver area and took great pride in sharing her knowledge with us. The Britannia Mine tour was quite interesting as was the visit to the Shannon Falls area. We were able to view Stanley Park, The harbor bridge and get the inside scoop on the elite homes in the area. The best part was the AWESOM gondola ride up the mountain. We enjoyed on our own lunch at the restaurant on top and took tons of photos. The views were spectacular!!! The suspension bridge was beautiful to look at but I didn't dare the walk across it...all though several adventurous people in our group loved it. I highly recommend this tour, However it may not be a good choice for anyone with mobility issues due to some hilly and uneven walking areas. The gondola aides did assist people using canes and walkers.
A great day! Loads of lovely places to visit and we had more than enough time at the Sea-to-Sky Gondola to eat and do all the walks. Our guide was...I think his name was Richard...he was from Coventry anyway but it was great.
I was nervous about taking the gondola ride, but once I got on it was breathtaking, and Iwanted to do it again. Both my husband and I were fascinated about the Britannia Mine experience. What the miners went through was amazing and terrifying.
