Derived from the Sanskrit word, “Katha”, which mean story, and kathakar which means storyteller, this dance form will teach you to be a storyteller through hand movements and extensive footwork.
Your tour will begin your guide picking you up from your hotel at 9:30 AM in the morning, from where your guide will take you for the class. Your one-hour class will start with your teacher briefing you about the dance form, its origin, and other details. Post which gets ready to learn this beautiful art with your coach.
Once the class gets over, head ahead with your guide to the bazaar, oldest market of the Varanasi, where you will find everything under the sun that this city is known for! From silk textiles to handicrafts to wooden artifacts this market will give you everything that Varanasi is famous for! Be a local with your guide as you navigate through the narrow alleys of these markets.
