One of the twelve Jyotirlingas(holiest temples of Lord Shiva), this temple is situated on the banks of River Ganga. This temple is also named Kashi Vishwanath Temple as Varanasi was named Kashi during ancient times.

Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Nepali Temple has great importance for Hindus. This temple is also named Shri Samrajeswar Pashupatinath Mahadev Mandir, Kanthwala Mandir, and Mini Khajuraho. Taking three decades to be completed, the temple is made up of terracotta, stone, and wood.
