2-Day Rome and Vatican from Venice by Rail

Day 1 – Venice - Rome 

Departure in the morning from Venice Station. Board your Fast Train and reach Rome in 3:45h. Arrive into the eternal city Rome and make your own way to and Hotel 3* near the Station, like Hotel Rimini or similar. Check-in at the hotel. In the evening take a tour of Rome by coach: the Fountain of the Nayads, admire the Roman Forum, the Coliseum, the Arch of Constantine and the Circus Maximus. Castel Sant'Angelo, St. Peter's, Porta Flaminia, Via Veneto, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain (meeting point near your hotel and drop off near your hotel). Return to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel

Day 2 – Rome - Vatican - Departure

After breakfast in the hotel you can do the check out and leave the luggage at Hotel. Then the coach tour begins by going through Piazza Della Repubblica with the Fountain of the Nayads the Aurelian walls which once surrounded the ancient city. With a guide enter the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel (entrance ticket included - pick up from your hotel and drop off in center of Rome). After the tour, pick up the lugguge from the hotel and travel back by train to Venice or take a private transfer to Rome Airport.
