We had an amazing time with Monica. She took great care of us and was full of information along the Grand Canal Tour. Once we arrived at Murano we had the best demonstration of glass blowing and how to make different items out of glass. We toured the showroom and it was just incredible to see the beautiful art!
We enjoyed our boat tour on the Grand Canal very much! It was wonderful having perspective from the water with history included. The Murano experience was also a great experience and we're very happy we went and saw the factory
My family and I took this trip in December 2017, we were really lucky with the weather, with the day being cold and bright. The trip down the grand canal with the expert guide was excellent, we all learned so much about the history of varrious areas and buildings lining the grand canal. It is a great way to get to know Venice an the major attractions like st Marks. The trip to the Murano glass works was the second part of the tour, during the trip over to the island you get some excellent views of Venice and in the distance the Alps. At the glass works you get an up close and personal demonstration of glass blowing which is excellent. The only down side is the visit to the glass shop afterwards, there are some excelent glass art works, however the price of the items in most cases are well over 1,000. Some of the pieces are over 100,000. However there is no pressure to buy, but you are followed very closely during your visit which I did not appreciate.
