We (4 adults and two kids 12 and 14) had the best night in Venice at this cooking experience. The night was fun and the kids LOVED it. We made Tiramisu and homemade lasagna which was all delicious. The lids really enjoyed rolling out the pasta and the adults learned things we have wanted to understand for years!! All the wine was ingredients were fresh and wine was from a local winery. The host was was EXCELLENT!!! He was great with the kids, friendly answered a bunch of questions and spent the night laughing with all of us. Everything was easy from the meeting time and location to the experience and host.... AAA+++++ We do wish there was better AC in the apartment and maybe an option of red or white (only had white)..... the wine was a minor detail and was a great night regardless. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! If you are looking something to do that isn't museums and cathedrals that kids will engage in this is a great option. It appears pricey but if you factor in the total entertainment time and the quality of the meal it is a good value. If we could choose a meal we were signing up for we would book again (so we know in advance that the meal would be different.) I hope we can go back to him again!
We had the most wonderful experience!!!! Lorenzo is a wonderful teacher and welcomed us into his home for a wonderful night of cooking in beautiful Venice! We made risotto, pasta and almond crumble. It was so much fun to make our own pasta. I have already made the risotto and pasta at home. The night flew by with wonderful food and was such an amazing family experience. I highly recommend a cooking class with Lorenzo!!!
This was with Chef Lorenzo who was a good, and patient teacher. We had 3 other people with us my friend and I. At Lorenzos house we prepared risotto with asparagus, handmade pasta with shrimp and mushrooms. We all helped in preparation under Lorenzos guidance. He made an almond crumble for dessert. The group sat down to eat with Prosecco. One thing I would suggest is that the Chef print out the recipes. That would be great to take home.
Booked tour for Dec 25 paid for it and received vouchers. Subsequently received email that they could not do it that day stated that they could do dec 26. Emailed back multiple times, at least 3 times with no response. This is very unprofessional. My son was looking forward to take a cooking class in venice and due to no response was not able to get him another class at the last minute.
