Do you want to feel like one of the protagonists of a Dan Brown novel for a day?
Join our tour based on Inferno, the famous book of Dan Brown, to discover the fascinating atmosphere of Venice from a cryptic point of view.
The tour will start from the church of San Geremia, where as the protagonists of the book, Robert Langdon and
Sienna Brooks, we will admire the relics of Santa Lucia. Later, thanks to a motorboat we will pass in front of
the Cemetery Island of San Michele, to finally be able to arrive to the Venetian Arsenal, the place where everything came to life! …
In fact, right there Dante Alighieri brought to light the idea of boiling pitch that tortures the damned in the Inferno and he mentioned the place in the Canto XXI of Inferno.
After this first “taste” of the book the mystery will continue in the Sospiri Bridge and the Venetian prisons and
the visit of the crypt nearby the church of San Zaccaria, the only one visitable in the city of Venice.
The tour will end with the visit of the unique Basilica of San Marco, the golden church, and discovering the
famous four horses of St Mark on its terrace we will be able to call back the history of this place: right there
Enrico Dandolo, the bling doge, called the Venetians for the Fourth Crusade in 1202. A short walk will lead us to
Rialto area, where we touch the palace of Doge Dandolo, who died and was buried in Constantinople in 1205.
