Enjoyed the tour but the prices of items at this factory are double what you can get in Venice. Buy your items in Venice unless you are looking for a special item not found elsewhere
This was one of the best tours I have done in Italy. We had 3 adults and 4 children in our group ages 7, 11, 13 and 16. And a great time was had by ALL!
After having to make your own way to the Island, you are met and taken to a 'factory' which is really just a big shop. The 5 minute glass blowing demonstration is interesting, but available to anybody free of charge. The descriptor stated we would be given a memento, but instead we were offered '20 off' Its a cheap trip but you could do it yourself and spend the 10 euros per person on a piece of glassware. On the plus side Murano is a very beautiful place and worth a visit on it own right.
