The sumptuous Vienna Art History Museum (Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien) stands alongside the Louvre, Hermitage, and the British Museum as one of the greatest collections of art in the world. You find here painting by Brueghel, Velasquez, Holbein, Dürer, Giorgione, Cranach, Raphael, Rembrandt, Rubens, Titian, as well as collections of Egyptian, Greek, and Roman art.

Moreover, a quarter of the exhibition space of the museum is occupied by the Cabinets of curiosities. We will visit all collections during this themed art tour. We will look at the social and cultural messages that these great works of art convey.
