Vienna Hofburg Orchestra - Vienna State Opera Concert
1h30
About this activity
Visit: Wiener Staatsoper, Opernring 2, Vienna 1010 Austria
One of the best orchestral associations in Vienna meets one of the most famous opera houses in the world.
The Vienna Hofburg Orchestra is presenting works of Viennese classical music in the Vienna State Opera, accompanied by internationally renowned opera singers and ballet soloists.
It is not the first time that the Vienna Hofburg Orchestra performs in the Vienna State Opera. Already in July 2018, the exceptional orchestra under conductor Kurt Schmid performed in a collaboration with the Austrian-Japanese festival choir Beethoven's 9th Symphony. A complete success!
In the year 2019, the 150th anniversary of the Vienna State Opera, the Vienna Hofburg Orchestra could not have made a better choice for its premiere with its own concert program.
On August 13, 2019, the orchestra will perform the most popular works by W.A. Mozart, Johann and Josef Strauss, as well as Franz Lehár and Emmerich Kálmán in the famous opera house in the cosmopolitan city of music!
